Senior Frontend Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who treats the interface as the product, not a layer on top of it. You'll build web applications across our client products and internal ventures — from design-system foundations to deployed, measured production UI.

This isn't a pixel-pushing role. You'll own architecture, performance, and the last 10% that separates shipped from polished.

What you'll do

  • Own frontend architecture end-to-end — from design-system foundations through build, deployment, and production monitoring
  • Build complex, data-heavy interfaces in TypeScript, React, and Next.js for clients and internal products
  • Turn product intent into accessible, responsive, fast interfaces — including when the design is yours to shape
  • Set and hold the bar on Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and cross-device quality
  • Contribute to system design decisions, code reviews, and engineering best practices
  • Work AI-native: use AI tooling for speed while owning every line that ships

What we look for

  • 4+ years of professional frontend development experience
  • Expert TypeScript and React, with production Next.js experience (App Router, server components, rendering strategy)
  • Design-system thinking: component architecture, tokens, variants — building UI other engineers build on
  • Performance as an engineering discipline: Core Web Vitals, bundle budgets, loading strategy
  • Accessibility as a default, not an afterthought — keyboard, screen readers, contrast, focus management
  • Testing that earns its keep: component and integration coverage where it matters
  • Ability to reason about trade-offs and make pragmatic technical decisions
  • Strong communication skills and comfort with async, remote collaboration
  • English level B2+, written and spoken

Nice to have

  • React Native or native mobile experience
  • Tailwind CSS v4 and shadcn/ui-style component systems
  • Motion and animation craft — micro-interactions that serve the product, not decorate it
  • Exposure to AI/LLM-powered interfaces or AI development tools (Copilot, Claude Code)

What we offer

  • Competitive compensation — paid reliably and on time, always
  • Remote-first — work from anywhere in CET-aligned time zones
  • Real ownership — shape products, not just implement features
  • Small team, big impact — your work matters here
  • Equipment support to set up your workspace
  • No algorithm puzzles in interviews — we focus on real engineering

What happens next

01
Intro call — 30 minutes

With a founder, not a recruiter. Your background, our work, and mutual honesty about fit.

02
Technical deep-dive — ~75 minutes

A real engineering conversation about systems you've built and problems we actually have. No algorithm puzzles.

03
Practical session

A short, scoped exercise grounded in our real work — walked through together, never a take-home marathon.

04
Offer

Direct and in writing: compensation, expectations, start date. Then we build.

Apply for this role

Link to something you've built and a few honest lines on why this role. No cover-letter theater.

Simplicity over complexity. Outcomes over elegance. Real problems, real solutions.

No ATS black hole. A founder reads every application — you get an answer either way.

We're builders. We build for clients, we build with partners, and we build for ourselves. Our team brings over a decade of engineering experience across HR tech, hospitality, sports, fintech, and SaaS — building everything from distributed crawlers to microservice architectures to AI-backed platforms.
