Approach

How we work.

The principles we decide by, the method behind the speed, the path from idea to production — and what an engagement feels like.

Seven principles

Each one is a tiebreaker: when two good options conflict, the principle names which one wins. They apply to us before they apply to your project.

  1. 01Simplicity over complexity.
  2. 02Outcomes over elegance.
  3. 03Production over presentation.
  4. 04Ownership over task completion.
  5. 05Business context before technical implementation.
  6. 06Long-term value over short-term output.
  7. 07Leverage over headcount. We turn recurring work into systems — AI, automation, playbooks — before we add people.

What we value

Ownership.

Outcomes, not tasks — down to the smallest operational detail when it matters.

Directness.

We say what we think about product, technical, and business decisions — including "this shouldn't be built."

Craft with pragmatism.

Quality is non-negotiable where it counts; everywhere else, simple beats clever.

Skin in the game.

We prefer engagements where our success is tied to yours.

Always current.

Hands-on with AI and the modern stack — practitioners, not commentators.

The method — AI-accelerated, production-disciplined

We use AI heavily to build — that's a large part of how a small studio moves fast. What makes the speed safe is everything around it: senior review of what ships, testing that reflects production reality, architecture decided before code generation starts.

And a rule we hold publicly: we don't publish speed or cost multipliers we can't prove. Ask on a call and we'll walk you through real examples instead.

Building AI products for you is a different thing from working with AI — that's a capability, and it lives in Build.

The path — idea to production

Every engagement walks the same four stages. What changes is where you enter — an AI-era prototype arrives with part of discovery already answered.

  1. 01Discovery & validation. What must be true on day one? You leave with scope you can defend — and sometimes with "not yet," which is the stage doing its job.
  2. 02Strategy & architecture. What shape survives your business model? Build vs. buy, stack, data model, what happens when things fail — decided with the business model in the room.
  3. 03Build & launch. Does the real thing hold? AI-accelerated, senior-reviewed, production-ready from the first deploy. Launch is a gate, not a party.
  4. 04Scale & evolve. What does traction demand next? Real usage rewrites the roadmap — and we stay for that part.

The engagement built around this path is Build.

What an engagement feels like

Short cycles. Working software over status theater. Honest reporting in both directions — good news and bad in the same voice. It starts the same way every time: you write, we talk, you get a straight answer — including "no" with a reason.

See if we fit.
